The Game Reserve
The tradition of game management has always been an important part of our heritage
Many hectares of the estate dedicated to repopulation and wildlife management
Over centuries the woods and farmlands around the Castle of Montozzi were the hunting grounds of the Bartolini Baldelli. Following the creation of a responsible Game management at Montozzi, today it has become largely dedicated to repopulation programmes of pheasant and hare. The game reserve of over 2000 hectares is carefully monitored, focusing mainly on population control of deer and wild boar.
The Game Management is directed by Carlo Bartolini Baldelli together with the support of the Estate Gamekeepers.
